The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) is one of a series of documents councils need to prepare under the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (as amended 2008 and 2012).

The SCI sets out our policy for involving the community in the preparation of our Local Development Plan documents, and in the consideration of planning applications.

We adopted our revised SCI on 17 March 2020:
